About our team…

Caroline Curtis Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD)
Dentist\Owner

I moved to Alaska in 1991 with my Mom and brother. I have lived all over the the lower 48, but consider Alaska my home, and can’t think of a better place to call “home” than Eagle River.

My dental career started in 1998 as an assistant in both Oral Surgery and Orthodontics. By 2008, new found passion in the field of dentistry led me to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where I earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 2012. Called back to Alaska, I worked in Fairbanks at the Interior Community Health Center as both a Staff Dentist and Dental Director. In 2018, my husband (Kyle) son (Liam) and I returned to Eagle River and purchased EVFDental from our former family dentist, Dr. Rampton.

In 2023 we expanded, purchasing Dr. Evans practice (next door) when he retired. I appreciate that both of these well-respected Dentists have entrusted me with such a wonderful patient family..

I enjoy family time, all things books, crafts, bees and Disney!

Kyle and I believe great dentistry starts with listening. Our approach is simple — provide honest, prevention-focused care that treats patients like family, not transactions. It is important our providers take the time to explain what we see and talk patients through every option, so you always feel informed and in control. I’m dedicated to mentoring my team, growing a positive work culture, and giving back to the Eagle River community I call home..

Jacqueline Wells Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD)
Dentist\Associate

We are so blessed Dr. Wells has joined us at Eagle View Family Dental! Joining her in her move to Alaska are her immediate family: husband (Ryan), twins (Emily and Evan), and her 2 lovable Newfoundland’s (Zeus and Phoebe).

Dr. Wells was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and the lifelong Cards fan received her DMD through the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (just like Dr. Curtis). During her externship last summer she and her family fell in love with Alaska (are we surprised? No!) and now she is part of our Eagle River community.

Her background is in Studio Arts, earning a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a MFA in Photography from Northern Illinois University. She was the head Academic Advisor and professor of art at NIU before having her twins. After staying home with the kids for 2 years, she became the Academic Coordinator for the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and it was there that she fell in love with Dentistry. Her passion for art and dentistry can be seen in the detail she brings to her work.

Dr. Wells has worked on the academic side of dentistry as well, and was a dental assistant in prosthodontics for 2 years before starting dental school.

She is excited to continue her career in dentistry with the wonderful staff at Eagle View Family Dental and the amazing patients here in the Eagle River-Chugach community.
